April 13, 2019, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Half hour for lunch)
All workshops take place at the office of the Emrys Foundation, 201 West Stone Ave., Ste. D, Greenville 29609
Do you have an interest in photographing people you encounter in your daily life but you’re too afraid to ask? In this workshop we will begin the day by looking at street photography and the methods photographers use to approach people and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Then we will head downtown Greenville to scour the streets in search of subjects. Back in the classroom, we will discuss our images, experiences and discuss ethics of photographing people in public spaces. This class will help you build confidence when photographing strangers and people you know!
